INVESTIGATION OF DRYING KINETICS OF APRICOT IN DIFFERENT ENVIRONMENTS

In this study, Çölo?lu, Hac?halilo?lu, Kabaa?? and Karacabey apricot species grown in Malatya province of Turkey were used. The effects various drying environment on the kinetics crude pre-treated apricots have been investigated. experiments conducted sunlight shade with SO2 treated untreated apricot. While speed curves dried increased rapidly at beginning, curve started to decrease afterwards. data was fitted five different mathematical models. Midilli et al. model determined as best one explain by comparing coefficient correlation determination (R2), mean absolute percentage error (MAPE) root square (RMSE) between observed expected moisture ratios.
